The Maintenance Supervisor (“MS”) will have broad and in-depth responsibilities for the maintenance and repair of an apartment development(s) which may consist of multiple buildings or a single structure.    Depending of the size of the assigned development(s) the MS may work alone or lead a Maintenance Technician(s) and possibly a Porter.     Reporting to their assigned Property Manager the MS will ensure their assigned apartment development(s) is maintained to company and industry standards of excellence.  The MS will work with commitment to maintain an attractive, clean, well-maintained property and the mechanical systems which are a part of the development(s).  As a key employee responsible for a development used around the clock by residents, the MS will be available for emergency calls and responsive to safety matters.    The MS will work collaboratively with the Property Manager and other staff members at being a good steward of a valuable asset which is home to residents of various economic circumstances and social needs. The MS will ensure the integrity of all data entered into the company’s systems.    The MS will provide excellent customer service to residents thus encouraging long-term retention.    As a leader the MS will demonstrate professionalism and will support the development and training of those supervised, and will diligently pursue their own professional development by fully utilizing the Pennrose Academy. The MS will report to a Property Manager.

The Property Manager (“PM”) will have broad and in-depth general management responsibilities at their assigned apartment development(s).    The PM will supervise a site team consisting of administrative, supportive services and maintenance personnel at levels consistent with property resources.  In some instances, the PM may be solely responsible for administrative tasks and may also perform supportive service tasks.    The PM will ensure their assigned apartment development(s) meets all financial goals as identified in the annual budget.  The PM will relentlessly pursue full occupancy / collection of rent and optimize rental income following program requirements / market conditions thus being a responsible steward for the success of each property.    The PM will also ensure that all compliance covenants and supportive service requirements are consistently met and that all maintenance tasks are managed professionally, while maintaining a safe work environment.  The PM will ensure the integrity of all financial and operations data /systems.    The PM will provide excellent customer service to residents thus encouraging long-term retention.    As site leader the PM will demonstrate professional leadership and will support the development and training of those supervised, and will diligently pursue their own professional development by fully utilizing the Pennrose Academy.    The PM will report to a Regional Property Manager.    Pay range: $60,000 - $70,000/year depending on experience.

The 120 year old former William Barton Rogers School is currently undergoing a historic rehabilitation. Rent-restricted studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments will be available to households and individuals at various income tiers (30%, 50%, 60%, 80% and 100% of Area Median Income). Several apartments will be set aside for homeless individuals. The residence boasts modern amenities and is pet friendly. The community hosts two private resident lounges and a sunroom. There is additional space available for large events, space for gallery, Resident cinema, classroom space for learning opportunities, and on-site laundry facilities. In addition, the residents will have access to a fitness center. Property management offers additional services, programs, accessibility and security for all residents and their invited guests such as: - Elevators and secured access entry to building - Courtyard and professionally landscaped grounds - On-site supportive services available to all residents including LGBTQ Programming and Services - On-site professional management team and maintenance with 24-hour emergency call service Pay range: $30 - $36/hour depending on experience.

The breadth and depth of the brand’s growth within any region is largely shepherded by its SVPs and RVPs with the support of Development Directors (“DD”). A DD is responsible for the realization of production goals for their designated geography as articulated by the Regional Strategy established annually to ensure consistency with Pennrose’s long-term enterprise strategies. Since its formalization in 2016, the Pennrose NY Regional Office has cultivated deep and meaningful relationships with stakeholders spanning the Empire State. During this time our work as housing professionals has fostered the creation and preservation of 2,000+ affordable and mixed-income homes. This DD will work with Pennrose leadership and its partners to deepen the enterprises commitment in housing and better serve the communities located within the Regional Economic Development Councils of: (i) Capital Region; (ii) Western New York; (iii) Finger Lakes; (iv) Central New York; (v) Southern Tier; and, (vi) Mohawk Valley (collectively, the “District”).   This is mostly will cover most of Upstate New York. Must live in Upstate New York but will be mostly remote.   Pay Range: $100,000-$110,000/yr, dependent on experience + commission (up to $80,000)
